Abstract：We experimentally demonstrate an on-chip silicon 1×2 switch that routes 8 data channels on 4 modes and 2 polarizations. The insertion losses are < 8dB, and the crosstalk values are below -15dB. The 8 channels are tested with a 72-Gb/s signal.
